If you know me, then you know I’ve been thinking about starting a blog for a while now. I kept saying that I was going to start one when I became a TEFL teacher. Well, I’ve been teaching English online for over a year now, and haven’t started that blog.
What’s changed?
I could say, “nothing”. But that wouldn’t really be true.
Next week, I’m moving to China for at least a year. In the middle of a worldwide public health crisis. Yep, that’s right – I’m going TO a country that has thousands of people sick with a new coronavirus and it’s spreading everyday.
Today, I got an email from my new employer about when to arrive. And, finally, finally got to book my flight. An hour later, a couple major airlines announced that they’d suspend flights to mainland China. My flight isn’t cancelled. Yet. I’m crossing my fingers that they don’t decide to cancel my flight. Who knows when I’d be able to get another one?
I’m ready to start my new TEFL adventure.
